CORES Development was founded in 2006 by Peter Leyssens and Jurgen Van Bogaert TO DEVELOP\u00a0 inner-city real estate concepts with social added value.<\/p>\n

CORES Development focuses on core reinforcement in cities and municipalities. Urban Landscaping with added value for society can only be attained through cooperation by and between all stakeholders: local residents, government institutions, architects, construction companies, engineering firms, etc. Against this backdrop, CORES Development assumes its role as facilitator where compromise-oriented action takes centre stage.<\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n

We, as concept developers, contribute to the revaluation of the most authentic neighbourhoods in urban sites. This is also the case on the Eilandje in Antwerp. There, the vacant customs building in the Cadix district made way for a development consisting of 184 apartments, offices, retail, catering, a nursing home and a supermarket that the entire district had long been waiting.<\/p>\n

Together with the City of Antwerp, we created a new neighbourhood park on the former car park. At the same time, the tram line to the outer and inner city was extended and the surrounding streets were redeveloped. In short: a strong example of urban renewal in practice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Our neighbourhood developments offer sustainable living solutions for every generation and lifestyle: from budget-friendly apartments and single-family homes to accredited assisted housing for senior citizens.<\/p>\n

A fine example is the De Weverij [Weaving Meal] residential area, which is situated on the grounds of Schoeters-Bruggeman, the former textile factory in Sint-Niklaas. The neglected industrial site was upgraded by CORES to a qualitative new residential area with a green central neighbourhood park. The car-free residential area will not only be a home for new residents, but also a meeting place where the neighbours are welcome: the central neighbourhood park will ensure that the neighbourhood is rewoven.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/p>\n
